Shelter renovations
We completed a soft refurbishment of our front of house area for emergency accommodation (office, side meeting room, client lounge area), thanks largely in part to a grant from the NZ Lottery Grants Board – 2013).
The lighter and brighter entrance way creates a more welcoming and positive environment for those coming in for emergency assistance.
The sideroom has been revamped and is utilised by a number of other community social service agencies (including Probation services and Mental Health Services) to engage with shelter clients.
The main office has been made into a more functional workspace for staff.
